To the Scottish Parliament Petition\'s Committee The Council Tax is a regressive tax that penalises those on low and fixed incomes. We believe that any form of taxation should be based on the ability to pay and call for the replacement of the council tax with a local income tax.

Sick of council tax going up every year while my wages stay the same. It is outdated and unfair. We need a system that actually reflects what people earn.
