Bry voted twice for the scooters. She should have done her homework before she put us in this mess. Scooters are simply used recreationally by tourists in La Jolla...not for the first mile/last mile. Demographics and topography are not commuter friendly in La Jolla Village. Scooters are a Public Safety hazard and and an eyesore. They are not environmentally friendly. Our City Council is ignorant to have endorsed this unregulated madness in the first place. Sick of City Hall!!!

Scooters are unsafe and thrown around the city with no consequences.I have found them littering the streets and tossed into bushes.

Scooters are a danger to the public and the riders. The riders are irresponsible. An Amusement Park Type ride for tourist. Also a vehicle for the under age who don't have driver licenses, much less cars. They are eye-sores in front of peoples homes. The Scooter Business Owners are profiting , not the City or the Public. They are Lowering the quality of life for our Neighborhoods, Ban Them.

Dangerous. I walked out of work and a guy almost ran me over on the side walk, I jumped out of the way and pushed him to save my own life. Could have slammed my head on the sidewalk.

If there were responsible riders, that would be one thing, but now the companies themselves are not adhering to the amount of scooters etc can be in a 'corral' and there are being knocked over and just generally an eyesore in the neighborhood. The regulations are being scoffed at and it is totally out of control.

Had I not approached the end of the alley where it meets the street, slower than usual yesterday, a scooter flying down the sidewalk would have smacked right into my car.

Idiots approved the introduction of these scooters with no trial period in San Diego. I like the alt trans idea, but it must be seriously vetted with no exchange of $$ involved.
