I am 100% behind a ban on these scooters. They are dangerous and neighborhood eyesores.

I tripped on one this morning as I was walking on a Girard Avenue sidewalk. It hurt. I find them to be a nuisance and ugly.

In theory they are a good idea. But in a congested urban environment they are little more than a public nascence .

Scooters are dangerous to everyone. We can’t wait to ban scooters until people are injured or killed. Stop them now.

Mission beach has turned into a war zone.
Why can't San Diego be proactive instead of reactive. These scooters are a menace and trashing up our beach community.
Not to mention blocking ada sidewalks and injuring many.

These toys are all over making San Diego a very ugly place. Driving on the sidewalk where wheelchairs, seniors, dog walkers, baby strollers and humans are trying to walk. San Diego is no longer Americas finest city, Its a scooter dump. There is still traffic congestion and it will never end. Only people who ride these toys are children, tourist and drunks. How many people have died or suffered brain injury because of these toys? How many more?

The scooters are a terrible hazard to pedestrians (I've almost been hit numerous times, and I've almost tripped on one more times than I can count!).

Since riders and companies refuse to follow the rules, it's time to get rid of them altogether.

Scooter companies and too many scooter riders have chosen to ignore any regulations, so only way to make our sidewalks and boardwalks safe again is a ban.

The scooter have made it more dangerous to drive or walk around town. The beach has declined since the scooters arrival.
