I met with regional representatives today to present the logistical burdens these closures place on our rural businesses. We are currently drafting a formal dossier to submit to the head office demanding a review of their branch reduction strategy.

90km round trip is just insane for older people. leave the bank open.
Living in Schull all my life and we need this branch. cant believe they are doing this to us.
TERRIBLE IDEA. local businesses will suffer so much if they pull out of here.
skibbereen is way to far for us during the winter months. keep it in schull.
Just back from the village and everyone is talking about this. we need the branch to stay open.

As someone considering buying property in the area, having conveniences nearby, such as a bank, is definitely a consideration. Please save the bank.
