Barclays have given us notice that they are going to close the last bank in Lees Village, forcing busness users and members of the bank to go into town to use their facilities
The Cash Dispenser will be removed when the bank closes leaving only the machine at the Coop which is only open in shopping hours causing problems for shoppers and revellers
Barclays paid 2.4 billion pounds in bonuses to their staff and have been fined 100s of millions for unscrupulous trading so they are closing high street banks to claw back £1billion in savings
The issue is they are here to serve us they use our money to lend to borrowers and charge or fiddle as much as possible out our pockets and do not give anything bac

My 94 father in law won't go into Oldham hasn't got internet. Doesn't leave him with much option!!

Do not close or local bank been a customer for 33yrs .
We need a bank and cash machine in Lees. They are both used by many people!
We try to regenerate the village and Barclays try to degenerate by walking away
