we actually did it because the bill passed and the school zone is finally happening. i cant believe how much energy everyone put into this but the streets are going to be so much safer for the kids now. thank you for staying with me on this one.

Final supporters
We believe that there is insufficient signage on BCP to notify drivers that there is an elementary school on the parkway. We feel unsafe walking along BCP in front of the school, where traffic speeds regularly exceed the posted 40 mph limit. We are concerned with the increasing volume and speed of traffic along BCP and feel that Burke Centre is in danger of losing its identity as a residential and walking-friendly community.
We support passage of this bill to achieve the following results:
- To slow down traffic in front of TCE.
- To raise awareness and promote safer access to school grounds.
- To maintain and enhance Burke Centre's walkability.
We urge immediate passage of the bill.

Just add the signs and lower the limit. It is an elementary school for gods sake.
Slow down people!! Small children are crossing there every morning.
People fly down that road like its a race track. Its a school zone plain and simple fix it before something bad happens.
Ive lived here 10 years and the speed on that parkway is insane. Needs to be marked properly.
ABOUT TIME. My kids walk that way sometimes and its scary. Make it official.
