This is a petition to try to convince Sceptre to release an updated firmware for TV model U435CV-UMC. The changes in the updated firmware should include the following:
1. Ability to save options changed in the service menu
2. Ability to disable auto-dimming
3. Ability to customize the no-signal standby time, just like how you can customize the sleep timer.
4. PC Mode which disables HDCP 2.2 to allow extra bandwidth for 4K@60Hz. I realize this one may be wishful thinking, but can't hurt to ask. :)

The ability to fix the text sharpness for monitor mode in a service or otherwise standard menu and have it save is critical to deciding how to rate my monitor purchase and this brand for customer support.
Unfortunately with these options unavailable, this set will likely be getting returned and a Seiki taking its place. If this were fixed, this wouldn't be the case.
We need the service menu settings to save or the issues to be fixed. What cant they just tell us how to save the settings to the EPROM or NVRAM?
The biggest bother for me on this TV is the backlight auto adjusting all the time....using as PC monitor and scrolling through webpages. The backlight seems to constantly change.
I'm going to be returning mine unless I can get the auto-dimming turned off, and I also want the ability to save all the changes I've made in the service menu to achieve the best possible picture quality.

I love this panel, I have actually purchased 2 one for home, and one for the office, but these small changes would make it so much better, I had several people at work ask me about getting one, but I can recommend it more if these changes were made
