The students of this school unanimously agree that we should have more then about 12-14 minutes to eat lunch every day, they say we have 22 minutes, but about 10 of that is us waiting to get dismissed. we don't need 45 minutes or something crazy like that obviously, but we should not have to scarf down our lunches in 10 minutes. this petition is to just add 5-10 minutes to lunch.

I have been collecting feedback from students during the break periods to better document the reality of our current lunch schedule. The primary focus remains on securing a reasonable amount of time to eat rather than rushing through a meal. I am currently preparing a formal proposal to submit to the administration regarding this adjustment.

The momentum behind this request demonstrates that our shared concern regarding the current lunch schedule is valid. It has become clear that students simply require a reasonable amount of time to consume their meals properly.

Let's be reasonable. Add the extra 10 minutes to the end of day. They are not asking for much
It would be very helpful to have more time to finish and then be able to get to class on time
it feels like we are in a race every single day. just give us 10 more minutes so we arent choking on our food
bruh 10 minutes is not enough time to even get through the line let alone sit down and eat. my stomach always hurts because i have to inhale my food so fast
We don't get enough time at lunch to eat when we get off cart we could 2 seconds and then we have to throw it away cuz I won't let us take it out of the cafeteria

Please I always have to eat my lunch as fast as I can. I have no time to chew it up. I have to let her really quick, and it takes me forever so
