I spent my own lunch break today watching students scarf down cold food while running to their next class. The silence from the administration is frustrating because they refuse to acknowledge how much this daily stress impacts our mental health.

Seeing this grow makes me think of all the times I ran to class hungry because my lunch break was just too short. The momentum building here shows that I am definitely not the only one struggling to get through the day on such little time.

Lunch time used to be an hour then it went to 45 minutes and now it's a half hour. Our classes are an hour long. We need longer lunch because there is to many students in the lines that people don't get lunch until the bell rings at the end. And we need more time to get away from the lines by going off campus for food.
Hate waiting in line for 20 minutes only to have the bell ring right as I'm buying my food. (Happened the 1st day, not even exaggerating)
As an athlete, I miss 6th period almost every week and lunch is really my only time to get help from my teachers. A longer lunch would give me more time to talk to teachers and get help. Thank you
Lunch is too short for me to see my friends and get lunch from the crazy long lines. We need a longer lunch. I have choir after lunch and I don't have enough time to get food and talk to my friends. Also we're not allowed to eat during choir so... give us longer lunches
I honestly hate how our lunch is broken down. I spend most of my time just trying to get my lunch and waiting in line. By the time I get my lunch, it's already time for class! It's terrible! I don't even have time to go to the bathroom!
i dont go to that school but im trying to make a petition for my school to also have longer lunch 30 mins is way to short.

People speed to get to class on time because they don't want to be late because they don't have enough time to leave the school and get food. When I was a freshman lunch was an hour and it was the perfect amount of time
