St. Albans Sainsbury's on Everard Close has submitted plans to the local council for a substantial extension, including a two storey car park. The full planning application can be accessed via the right-hand link. As local residents we do not feel that this extension is needed and will have a negative impact on those living in the area. A larger store means more: -Traffic congestion (substantial increase in deliveries) -Noise -Pollution -Empty shops in the town centre Please help us to 'Stop the Sainsbury's' Expansion Plans' by signing this online petition.
