Started by Residents of Dunsmuir Ave 11 years, 11 months ago
On August 14, 2014, the Advisory Agency approved the Vesting Tentative Track Map No 72685-LS, located at 1213-1215 Dunsmuir Avenue for a maximum of six (6) single-family lots for the purposes of Small Lot Subdivision.

"Please sign this petition to show your opposition to this project with an 11 foot front setback
and building a structure over 45 feet high on Dunsmuir."

Updates

September 23, 2014

I have submitted a formal request for a meeting with the planning department to contest the 11 foot front setback requirement. We are currently drafting a letter to the advisory agency that highlights the discrepancy between this building height and the existing neighborhood character.

11 foot setback is a joke. its gonna look like a prison wall right on the sidewalk. hope the city wakes up and blocks this mess.

Ridiculous. Our neighborhood is already way too crowded and these 45 foot buildings look completely out of place. Stop ruining the character of our street.

I agree, this project will be a different form of blight on our neighborhood. I live on the next street and I will be affected by the view of this building which will be taller than the trees on our block. I objected to this initially and I still don't think that putting 6 condos or 13 more apartment units in a 6000 sq.ft lot is a good use of space. We don't have any parks close by and the additional traffic will be a burden. In truth we already will have additional traffic from the high density multi-use properties on Wilshire and the new housing coming in on Venice and Fairfax. I say NO to this project Mr. Wesson, who do you represent?
