A proposal has been accepted to develop 107 high rise apartments located on Restwell Rd, Prairiewood (back end of Stocklands near the T-way, football field). As you can imagine, it would be an overdevelopment (considering Stocklands expansion and introduction t-way), would make the area excessively dense, landscapeless, with the multi-stories potentially dwarfing surrounding residences (which are single story). It would take away from the small green area and walk ways we have left around here. It would be an awkward complex in a narrow suburban area, and as such instructive and insensitive.
