the business's and residents of Watlands view and connecting roads do not want the one way system to go ahead it will take away trade and create an unsafe road, drivers will use the one way as an excuse to increase speeds knowing there is no oncoming traffic the road is also used by school children walking from a number of local schools and has no safe crossings other than a school lollipop man for two hours a day. A number of concerned bussiness owners agree that the will slow down and cannot afford for this to happen please help by signing this petition. Thankyou

not only will it make the on way road faster and more dangerours for school childern and residents, but will also make accessibility to the likes of Heaton Terrace and Sparrow Terrace even harder if traveling from the a500.
Many many years I've used this road and yes it's busy but having no crossings and no traffic control measures makes this road dangerous. Having a one way system will make it dangerous beyond recognition. Use the back streets as control measures. Use your heads but don't make it one way! Think of the businesses there. Think of the residents. It has functioned well for so long; think about other measures please
There is no need to make this one way. It was done on a couple of the side streets and all its done has made it worse on heaton terrace.they drive up and down like lunatics
There is no need for that road to be 1 way, why change something that doesn't need it, the traders will lose money they need all the help they can get in this day n age x
It will.make the road unsafe for my little boys and nefew and nice as more people will speed and with the cars parked like they do I can see more people getting knocked down
No way .one way it is bad enough without encouraging the idiots who speed-up and Watlands View. The should be a total ban on any lorries, They know the route is via Bradwell Lane. We have lived here over 54 years. We had buses to Silverdale, Chesterton Burslem Hanley they were got rid of years ago due to on street parking No way One Way.

Doing this is just going to add to the congestion around the Clare Avenue/Bradwell Lane junction and that has already had more than its fair share of accidents !!!!
