The government of Ghana has decided to build a cathedral for christian inter-denominational church services. This project will definitely cost the Ghanaian tax payer. Already, some judges of our courts are being evicted from their bungalows and these bungalows will be pulled down to pave for the construction of the cathedral.
Ghana needs a lot of money to fund its free Secondary education, build more classroom blocks, procure ambulances for emergency services etc. These and others are more important than building a cathedral for churches who have their own places of worship already.
I therefore call on all Ghanaians to stand up and say a BIG NO to the National Cathedral.

I think we need money for other pressing needs like school infrastructure in the country. Building this will rather become a place for the political parties to god their confidences.

I Suborvi Korblavi deem the building of a national cathedral at this time a misguided priority and the deadliest corruptuon of the century. To you the Clergy, you will be overly complicit in a fraud should you support such an idea.

I believe in God. I believe I am saved by Christ Jesus. I believe God's Holy WORD, The BIBLE, that teaches us that God does not dwell in a temple made with hands. I believe the decision to build a national cathedral at a cost to the Ghanaian tax payer is born out of zeal without knowledge or a miscalculated attempt to sow a seed with intent to harness political capital. Ghana needs a reliable ambulance service. Ghana needs more school buildings to contain the increasing senior high school population. I say NO to the National Cathedral; it a frivolous enterprise at least at this time.
