The road is busy enough and this is far too close to people’s houses.

The increase in traffic will be horrendous walking our roads will become very dangerous.

This would be very dangerous especially with the heavy traffic on this road.

If this quarry is allowed it would severely damage the quality of life for the Muirtack and Ardallie population due to additional traffic, noise and polution. I don't see how any professional planner can endorse this.

We need to look after the environment in this day and age. This quarry should not be given the go-ahead on that basis alone.

There is no need or want for this horrible quarry.

No quarry at Muirtack. Objection already submitted via Aberdeenshire Council.

If the new access road/junction to the proposed quarry is created in an attempt to overcome the main reason for the first planning application having been turned down i.e. implying that this new access would keep the HGVs off the unclassified road U94B. Would this actually “ban” the HGVs from the U94B or could this soon result in the U94B being used as part of a “one direction looped route” to save HGVs waiting for oncoming HGVs to pass on the new access road?

I oppose the development of Muirtack Quarry because there are already a number of quarries in the region. Given environmental concerns, the focus should be on developing and using alternative materials. I am also concerned about the negative impact of the location of the quarry - e.g safety concerns of increased HGV traffic on local roads (including Toll of Birness) and the negative impact on nearby residents.

Another case of narrow roads unsuitable for large heavy goods vehicles.

No consideration for the fact that the traffic is already too busy for the junction without large numbers of lorries being added to the area

The reasons this was already refused permission still exist so there is no acceptable reason for this to go ahead now.

There are so many accidents on that road.

Craziest proposition the new road idea is ridiculous traffic is heavy near Toll of Birness and local infrastructure cannot Cole with increase of heavy traffic.

I am against the quarry and access road coming out close to Toll of Birness. This junction site of many accidents and could never cope with increaed traffic
