I voted for you believing you had the best interests of our children. This bill and funding the West Lake and TOD are taking money from our communities and schools. PLEASE put our children first and not personal financial gain

This is a horrible idea! After living in the region since 1986 I already see this plan being passed and then suddenly any monies vote in a school referendum will no longer be used for the school. Instead a train and TOD will be the priority. Good bye A school in Munster- we will be in a worse mess. Please do not endorse this!

This is a horrible piece of legislation. While on the surface it appears that it will help us out, it is simply one more way for elected officials to take money from an area people support and use it to make their own plan succeed. If the train can not be self supporting it shouldn't happen. Shame on all of you for trying to cheat the community!

I'm not against the idea of having the South Shore expand down the West Lake Corridor, but the proposed Ridge Road station is completely ludicrous and the amount of money that Munster is putting on the line is excessive. The town of Munster is not being honest with us and there should be a referendum on this.

How can we afford to spend so much money for so little return? You are doing more harm than good. Why is Munster leading this effort when clearly southern communities will see the benefit at our expense. Return on investment needs to be explained clearly.

We moved to Munster based on the quality of the schools. Please do not shortchange our children by reallocating funds originally promised to schools to this rail project!

Our future here in Munster rests in our children and the excellent education that Munster schools have always offered them, not in a train! Keep our taxes for our schools.
