We need to find a better use for the corner lot. It's simply too close to an elementary school for a large gas station. It might be possible to locate a very small gas station on the corner, but not large 'modern' facility.

Agreed with all reasons. I live nearby and have no problem getting gas at other stations. In addition, our kids attend Forest Glen and this presents a safety issue. Lastly, is this what we want the 5 corners known for?

Have we learned nothing from the past? It took about 10 years to clean up the mess and contamination from the last gas station on that property. Yes, we need commercial development and tax money, but surely we can find something more appropriate for our community.

This corner is very family friendly. I can walk my dog and he loves going through the grassy field. I don't want more traffic as I live on a busy street. This isn't environmentally friendly. Air pollution will increase. There will be car oil leaks everywhere, my entire house rattles and isn't well sound proof from the outside noises. Sleeping at night will be impossible with non stop traffic. The neighborhood is quite dark and peaceful. There will be constant light that will illuminate the sky where it's beautiful to gaze at the stars. Please do not approve this.

Besides the obscenely overscaled pump volume and hours...Seriously? The village picked up the remediation tab for the previous gas station on that site! Deja Vu?!!

This will back up directly next to my brother's home. He has two small toddlers - this is not the place for a 24/7 gas station. I worry about their safety and their privacy, not to mention their ability to drown out the intense lighting coming through their home at night. This is a poor decision.

Not right for this location

This will be detrimental to a residential area.

This will make that area look busy and trashy. It will also make crossing the street more dangerous.

We are residents of Glen Ellyn and are against this proposal.

That corner has so many neighborhood children walking, riding bikes etc...that corner should NOT have a 12 pump gas station....and 24/7 not good for our quaint town...we will fight this to the bitter end...

Thank you for fighting this unneeded, unnecessary 24/7 gas station and liquor store!!

We have Roosevelt Road. Let's put it there, where it won't endanger children, increase residential traffic, destroy mature trees, displace wildlife, and further "commercialize" a historic corner.

NO! to Village selling forest-portion of 825 Main St property. The forest is a natural barrier between residences and commercial properties. Keep the forest!

We don't need Roosevelt Rd. Problems on St. Charles or Main St. with school busses all ready there & a 5 way intertersection. !!!!

Protect the health of Forest Glen children, no gas station in this location.

This is a poor location for gas station, especially considering adjacent lland use (Forest Glen School). Access to the property will also compromise safety and operation of the signalized intersection.
