This proposed gas station is incredibly large, backs up to homes, and will be a danger to the surrounding areas, including Forest Glen school and its students. Stop this gas station!!!! This would be an embarrassment to the village and will attract undesirable traffic and commerce to the area. A quaint eating establishment like a blackberry market would be great in this location instead.

My good friends have young children a stones throw away from this site. This is WRONG...Period A big gas station in this neighborhood is a fundamentally a bad idea

This is a ridiculously and unnecessarily large site plan that is inappropriate for the area and proximity to Forest Glen and Montessori schools. Develop something else that doesn't have environmental impact close to my children.

This is wrong for the environment. This is wrong for the historic entry to Glen Ellyn. This invites crime - especially when the police station is being moved further away from this location. This is wrong for the community. This is wrong for the minimal taxes generated. This is wrong because there is a loss taken on the property. THIS IS WRONG!

I oppose the construction of the gas station at 5 corners. It creates unnecessary traffic, pollution and safety rules risks to an area so close to Forest Glen.

A 24hr gas station is not needed in this area of Glen Ellyn. I believe the increased traffic could be an endangerment to the schools located in its perimeter.

A 24 hour gas station so close to a residential neighborhood does not work for the "entryway" to the Village of Glen Ellyn.

No gas station. Plenty of options nearby. GE doesn't need more beer/liquor outlets on 5 corners, particularly with Forest Glen a block away.

Our tax dollars were used to clean up and remediate the former gas station on that site. The vision for the redevelopment of that space was to make it a grand entrance to our community. A gas station does not achieve that goal. I understand the need to generate tax revenue, but it is very poor decision to do that at the expense of the health and safety of the people (especially the children!!!) who live, work, learn and play in the immediate vicinity of that property. i am absolutely stunned that village staff never considered a community impact study or an environmental study! Stunned. This is not the place for a gas station.

This is an inappropriate place for a gas station. It's in violation of distance from a school and would be too integrated within the neighborhood. A station isn't needed here. People can go to the one off main and Geneva or drive up to North Ave
