A gas station of this size does not belong in this residential location, especially so close to an elementary school. To ignore the past environmental impact and the increased danger to our young children walking to school is irresponsible.

I have too many negative comments about this proposed station.

This gas station complex would be a terrible entry into our beautiful town, especially after all the beautification made to the Tavern site. Also, it does not fulfill any need.

That intersection is dangerous without a gas station. It would be great to not have our children killed while biking to ackerman

This is much too large a gas station for this intersection. I live two blocks north and already avoid this intersection because it can be dangerous.

After costly remediation after three failed gas stations, the village doesn't need another.

The impact on traffic would be terrible. It's already congested on this corner at rush times. Children are walking to school just a block away. Maybe a scaled down version but not a 12 stall gas station. Glen Ellyn isnt built for that sort of congestion.

I believe in maintaining the small town aesthetic of Glen Ellyn as a quaint, safe community that is ideal for raising a family. Putting in a 24 gas station is an awful idea that not only puts the safety of our children at risk, it also will impact the charming look of our town.

Against the "super sized" gas station and C-store development in my parents backyard at 600 Elm Street. The trustees state there has always been a gas station there... there were 2 prior failed ones on only 1 of 3 parcels. Do the right thing for the village. Reject this plan!

This is NOT how we need to generate revenue for our village. What ever happened to that corner being "The Gateway into Glen Ellyn". Is this the image we want? We have plenty of viable options for gas, etc, less than a mile away, with more currently being developed.

There are 3 gas stations on North Avenue and there is no need for another so close by. We have a Walgreens and liquor store and a convenience store already at that corner.. You will be hurting their businesses and and increasing traffic at an already busy intersection. This makes no sense and does not support the community

Please listen to our town's collective voice instead of a handful of trustees who are not acting on behalf of their community's best interest. This gas station will not only be an eye sore, but it is environmentally and physically unsafe for the children at Forest Glen and residents who live close-by.

Please do not allow a 24/7 gas station to be built in our beautiful 5 corners. This is a kid friendly zone and a gas station will be very dangerous.

I strongly oppose the development of a gas station on this site due to environmental and safety concerns especially in light of close proximity to residents and neighboring schools.

A large 24 hour gas station/convenience store is too much. Please listen to the people of the Glen Ellyn. Perhaps the people could buy the property back and make something a little nicer in the space.

There is no need for a gas station here. There is already a Shell station at Geneva and Main in Wheaton.
Why wasn't this sent to the Glen Ellyn environmental commission allowed to review this?
