Just shutting it seems to be the easy answer, why does it cost upwards of £2M to put a roundabout in place and also take 2-3 years? Something not right about that, we need a solution that is acceptable to the majority of local residents, who will be directly affected

typical Sunderland Council, forgetting that the city does not stop at Doxford Park Roundabout. The figures that they published was a joke, surely they are more dangerous roads that should be a priority.

Closing the junction should not be an option there's plenty of other options that could be put in place there's already been an improvement with the work just done give that a chance.
