Say No to Big-Box Rezoning at Hillcrest & LBJ

The increase in traffic and congestion within the proposed sight would only create a hazardous and totally dangerous situation. there is NOT room on this location to accomodate the congestion, the danger this location would create in this location.

This is NOT a good option for the community

There is not adequate space available at this location for something the size of an HEB store, or enough room to support the traffic flow. What will happen when the LBJ service road is closed for high water?

I'm concerned about the congestion this will create at an intersection that is already overwhelmed at rush hour.

I am against rezoning the HEB site to Regional Retail at the SE corner of LBJ and Hillcrest.

Choice of Hillcrest location for HEB shows significant lack of foresight, lack of planning and lack of understanding of the neighborhood. There are more ideal locations where retail already exists, where they won’t have to raze office buildings and elevate grade re flood risk. Hillcrest is not a ‘retail zone’ for the most part, yet they want to build a high-traffic big box store here. It’s insanity.
