The province finally backed down and chose not to move forward with the breed ban. It has been a long and draining fight but our dogs keep their homes because we refused to be ignored. Stay vigilant because we need to make sure they stick to this promise.

Sign this petition so that the Quebc government can see that these animals really are our babies! It is very wrong to judge and ban a certain breed of dog, and they do not deserve this, nor do the great dog owners. We agree that certain rules should be made such as; NO
-leaving a dog unattended in a backyard (whether the dog is on leash or not)
-leaving your dog unattended in public places
-ALL DOGS must be walked on a leash
There is no bad dog, but only bad owners and guardianship.
The dogs and owners that are responsible do not deserve to have their family torn apart by a law that will NOT change the number of dog bites that happen in a year realistically.

Seeing this grow is exhausting yet it keeps me grounded in why I started this fight. People are finally looking at the facts instead of the fear and that alone keeps me going.

I've had pit bulls in all my life! My cousin has a pit bull and a chow chow and as I child it was the chow chow that jet biting everyone. It bit 4 kids before they decided to euthanize it. Also my husband was disfigured by a Labrador as a 4 year old. They had to stitch his nose back to his face. The point is any dog can bite!
Just like a human baby, No animal is born aggressive. They are taught to be agressive. If you teach an animal to love then they will love, if your mean and agressive, then they will learn to hate, be mean and agressive. You should interview all the owners and keep an eye on them, go and give surprise visits every six months, in order to see exactly what type of people they really are.

I have a 10 year old red nose pit she is absolutely beautiful and loving her best friend is a Saint Bernard and a chihuahua she has but both of my children how to walk and my three God children she is kind and gentle and loving what an amazing smart breed there's only such thing as bad dog owners not bad dogs no matter the breed
I think banning a breed of dog is Idiotic and I think the problem with the bites and dog attacks are going to be the same!
Stop dog Discrimination! this will not solve anything. These dogs are so smart and loveable companions. I will Never trade my pit for the world!

I have had pitbull a all my life and still today pitbull are my favorite dogs and they do not deserve to be treated this way when not all pit bulls are like the stereotype. It's how you raise them. We should be looking at the owners
