We have another 7-11 Convenience Store/Gas Station that is supposed to be built by the Tupelo neighborhood that is not needed either.

There are currently three operating gas stations on N highway 17 within a 1.2 mile stretch from national drive to porchers bluff. (Blue water, shell, 7-11)
If you approve this gas station, there would be 4 on highway 17 within a 1.3 mile stretch. Add in the gas station at Costco and that is 5 gas stations within a 1.3 mile radius.
There is absolutely no need for another gas station- NONE.
Necessity aside, adding a gas station at old course and hwy 17 would not just disrupt traffic, it would disrupt the quality of living for homeowners on old course (bright lights, noise, smell)
Think long and hard about the vision you have for our once quaint town.
West Ashley and North Charleston are known for their car dealership invasiveness- do we want to be known for the number of gas stations?
Seriously- removing trees on a beautiful corner lot for a gas station... something is seriously wrong with the town representatives if this gets approved
