This is such a terrible idea, given the overwhelming opposition to further development in the TOMP. We have plenty of gas stations in North MTP, we really don’t need another. I know that the TOMP wants to get its hands on as much tax revenue as possible, but putting yet another gas station is not the answer. I know it seems crazy, but why not another park? Sure, it doesn’t add to the town’s bottom line, but it does increase value. I’ve lived in smaller towns with more parks. Putting in an unnecessary gas station is sleazy and pathetic.

I live nearby in another development and there is absolutely NO need for another gas station. There are plenty to access in and around that corridor. Let’s not add environmental pollutants to our neighborhoods. Please be conscious of unnecessary sprawl as Mount Pleasant grows. It only makes the area less desirable.

If this is approved, they will have a traffic light snd rework lanes. It is already a dangerous intersection. Who in their right mind would even consider placing a high volume facility at that intersection?
