I oppose to this daycare center. A daycare in a congested residential area may worsen parking issues, overcrowding, and noise pollution, disrupting the community's balance. It's better suited for less populated or commercial zones that can handle the increased traffic and activity.

Not a safe location for a daycare. The Harney Road intersection has already had many safety issues, and adding toddlers and a drop off/pickup will not be an appropriate addition to the corner.

This is a residential area. Not appropriate for a day care.

This area of our neighborhood represents the primary entrance and exit for residents. The proposed use will unnecessarily clog an already overly-busy intersection, creating an increased risk of harm to residents - particularly children. These business owners have been dishonest with the town and will no doubt continue to operate in a dishonest manner in our neighborhood.

I absolutely oppose the proposed day care center and the increased traffic that will result in them operating a high-occupancy business on an already overcrowded area. The owners have demonstrated their utter disregard for the law in their approach to their so-called business and their false reporting to the council and can only imagine the other laws they are currently violating with respect to the children in their care. This will create a blight on our neighborhood and result in a diminishment in the value of my property which is wholly unacceptable. If you think for one minute that these scofflaws and their "business" will result in more taxes for our town, think again!

I strongly oppose a day care center at 32 Harney Road. That area is already way too busy.

I am totally opposed to considering a Day Care Center as has been put before the Planning Board. Traffic and safety being my primary concern; parking is insufficient at the applicants site and any adjacent area.

Traffic at the proposed location, be it thru Harney Road, entering or leaving Green Knolls, is already an accident waiting to happen. At the heavy traffic hour morning and evening, there is our own gridlock trying to move from Scarsdale Ave. in both directions. I am completely opposed to approval of this permit.

As a resident of the Town of Eastchester, and a retired educator, I am quite concerned that not only will allowing this residence to be used as a day care business set a precedent for future zoning changes in the Town, but most importantly that the particular location of this home would not adequately and safely meet the needs of toddlers and their parents. This begs the question as to whether the purchasers have the sound and sufficient judgement to even run a child care facility.

The house at 32 Harney should not become a place of business!
