The standards of the Savusavu hospital is pathetic. Nurses are often sleeping on duty which I’ve witnessed multiple times. Last week a doctor and a group of nurses formed a group and were giggling rather then attending to patients. In a nutshell, Savusavu hospital is a vale ni mate rather than vale ni bula.
Moving on to to hospitals such as CWMH and Labasa hospital are also in a bad condition they never have any beds empty for the two times I went to CWMH. Labasa hospital doesn’t have oxygen for the patients who were in need of an operation. It is such a shame that atleast overseas doctors come to assist and do operations here but due to lack of oxygen patients were sent back. This is just soooo sad and devastating!!! Today we lost Adalyn, tomorrow we don’t want to lose any of our loved ones due to such medical negligence.

It’s evident how ignorant some of these staff are. Most of them are rude & it’d be wonderful if the MOH looked into the hospital standards & attitude of the staff more.

Adalyn's case needs to be investigated ASAP. Her situation could have been prevented if the equipments, and the staff at the Savusavu Hospital were available when she was taken in. Minister for Health is a COWARD!

An upgrade is a necessity in support of this wonderful community. Their lives and well being matters and shouldn’t be taken lightly as they have been experiencing. This needs to be done now and not tomorrow.

I was suffering from strong pains on my left rib , I was barely able to move around. The medical staff took their own time in attending to me . I've never been satisfied with their service .This is not the first time ,once i suffered 13 hrs in labour pain back in 2011 , my baby and i were in danger then only they rushed us to Labasa hospital. I'm 100% on this that some things need to change at Savusavu hospital .People are labeling it as Vale ni Mate ...this is so sad.
