Savusavu Hospital - Citizen's appeal for improvement

Savusavu Hospital needs Urgent attention. A good leader is required at this hospital to make sure facilities are available at all times. Renovations of wards n emergency room are desperately required.

Needs improvement

It is unfortunate that we have lost a young woman because our service response time medically needs attention. There has to be an answer to the poor response that may have been a huge factor into the young womens death. Any family will want justice and for that I agree that we need to address our shortfalls. Lies should end or else more lives will be lost.

We need serious upgrades especially in terms of our E.D the machines available and also the infrastructure uodagrdes in general is long overdue .

I agree with the Petition , people should stand together think postive and focus on what it has be done in the hospital .

Needs replacing and upgrading facilities

Is there really a backup generator in Ssv hospital. Feel sorry for a friend who recently passed away few days ago. Govt saying that they've got a generator but why wasn't it working when the patient arrived. And also misusing of time by hospitals staffs. Management must look into this..

Now that there is no road access to Labasa, it is imperative that Savusavu Hospital gets the required equipment and back up generator for emergencies. Lives lost needlessly due to neglect and poor management are shocking and unacceptable. It is time for those in power to actually show they care about the ordinary people of Fiji!

I whole heartedly agree with the petition bring back the glory to at least when it was maintained by PWD including the standby generator which suppose to kick off after 10s of loss of mains power and have adequate fuel supply for at least 4 days.

Savusavu Hospital is desperately in need of qualified administrative personnel to manage the efficient running of the hospital including maintenance of medical equipment. constant supplies of medication and above all, overall cleanliness.

This is scary....having children i worry!! This is disgraceful considering the money this government make from tourism and expats. There should be health and safety standards

With the roads to Labasa in such a condition after the cyclones this season it is more important than ever to return Savusavu Hospital to Standards that the people of Fiji deserve.

I totally agree with this and same goes for all other hospitals and health centres
