Why not improve the health and well being of people on Vanua Levu

For the health and safety of our community we need this addressed ASAP.

I am so sad and heartbroken to hear about this poor mother who didn't deserve to die, due to the lack of medical facilities and staff/doctors that would have saved this woman's life

Hospital is in pathetic condition and is getting worse day by day .... need Government's urgent attention and actions.

This hospital has been neglected for many years, i myself remember taking my sons in when they were babies and got sick and the nights got sleepless and we would only be given paracetamol for the night and told to return to see a doctor in the morning as there were never any doctors at night. Fortunately for us its was never life threatening, but today there are two young boys without a mother, a husband without his wife and parents without their sweet daughter. She was young and had her whole life ahead of her. It was only an Asthma attack and the simplest things could have kept her alive and she would be by her families side. Savusavu hospital needs an upgrade and needs to be MANAGED.

Though it was unfortunate I had a serious dog bite last month if I hadn't I would not have been appalled angry sad to see the state of the hospital in my hometown. So bad I didn't have time to focus on my self when I looked around at the patients that were there . I realized then something has to be done!

If lives are at risk because the generator or other equipment is not working properly, something has to change!

Savusavu hospital is due for an upgrade . If this is impossible considering our financial situation.. than an immediate thorough maintenance is eminent.

Our Medical standards are really poor, as an inpatient you sometimes need to buy your own supplies(gauze, plasters...) and even medication. It's sad that

Sad that country towns get neglected all the time and when someone sets up a Go Fund me page they get shut down with negativity; how about we join arms and move forward putting definite constructive plans in place with an ongoing committee to steer this.
