The energy we waste using plastic bottles in a year would be enough to power 36,100,000,000 homes.
None of these numbers or facts may mean anything to you, but when your dead and gone in the ground; those bottles will still be here. If we continuethe way we humans are, our world isn't going to be here much longer.
Maybe you don't care about it. Hah you'll be dead. But what about the ones you left? Your daughter's/son's kids and their kids, and so on? They'll still be here when everybody hasto wear masks and step through piles of garbage and soot to get anywhere. There will no longer be beautiful green lush forests or flowers sprouting in spring. It will be a worldof grey dust and ash. Is this really what were leading our futures to?
Beauty does not last forever but we can help preserve it for atleast a little while. If you can just make that one step and sign this petition we can help save this beautiful world. One by one. This Earth is the only one we have.

I never imagined so many people would care enough to stop and add their names to this. Reading through your thoughts has been truly humbling because this momentum belongs entirely to you. I am already working to get these concerns in front of the right people.

I have been watching as the plastic bottles take over the water ways. It is time for people to start paying attention.
I'd like to see many more beverages offered in reusable glass bottles. Such widespread use of disposable plastics is just a bad idea and clearly it's leading to extensive pollution with negative human and environmental health effects.
Ban the sale of plastic water bottles
