Plastic water bottles are polluting our planet and we need to put a stop to it today. People throw out 35 billion plastic water bottles every year. Producing plastic water bottles uses up about eight percent of our fuel. As if that wasn't bad enough, when we are done with them they are then sent overseas to countries like Japan to fill 2,000 tons of landfills. Contrary to what bottled water advertisements say, bottled water is actually less clean than tap water. Bottled water has toxic chemicals like BPA that seep into it from the plastic of the bottle that can cause diseases like cancer. So let's all increase the amount of times we recycle plastic water bottles the right way or stop buying them altogether to end this pollution for our environment, our health, and our future generations.
