We want to urge all of our citizens in the south suburban area to sign and share our online petition to SAVE THE WOODY WINSTON HEALTH CENTER located in Phoenix, Illinois. Woody Winston Health Center has been serving the citizens of Phoenix, Dolton, Riverdale, Harvey, Calumet City, South Holland, Markham, Hazel Crest Dixmoor, Robbins and many other south suburban Cook County communities since 1990.
The Woody Winston Health Center meets several medical needs in our community including Internal Medicine, OB/Gyne, Pediactrics, Podiarty and HIV/AIDS Care.

I have been hearing so many stories from neighbors who rely on this center for their basic care and seeing the fear in their eyes is heartbreaking. I am currently spending my days drafting formal letters to the regional health board to demand they explain exactly how they intend to replace these vital services for our families. They are banking on us giving up quietly but we are not going anywhere.

Save our clinics, its important for healthcare in our community. Especially individual that dont have acess to care that close, no car or bus.Everyone deserves healthcare young and old rich or poor or of any color.Its about wellness. Thanks in advance, Noreen Whitehurst
Woody Winston was my doctor when I was a little girl. Now my mother and I go to the Woody Winston Clinic in Phoenix. We have a wonderful, caring doctor, Dr. Lachin everyone at the clinic treats us well. People in the south suburbs are dying 14 years sooner than people on the north shore. Closing our clinic would make it even worse - Suburban Lives Matter!
Please don't close this clinic. It not only provide and help the village of Phoenix residents but this clinic helps many citizens from the surrounding cities and villages. It is the only one that is still around that helps all people of many nationalities.
Please do not close this clinic! This clinic is used by the Phoenix Senior Citizens, along with other senior citizens from near by communities. This is a very convenient location for the seniors. If they move, there's no telling where our Seniors will have to commute. We need Woody Winston to stay in Phoenix!
The staff at the clinic are wonderful and the service they provide has been outstanding. They have become a part of our extended family and we do not want to lose them.
This clinic has help this community,so much.I thank you for your help and the Service you have giving to this surrounding Community.
