the stories people are sharing about growing up in watten are just incredible and really show why this place matters so much. im busy putting together a formal response for the council and your comments are giving me exactly the points i need to fight this.

the support for our school has been incredible and honestly kind of overwhelming. seeing everyone come together to protect our little community in watten keeps me going when things feel tough.

THE COUNCIL NEED TO LEAVE US ALONE. Typical city folk forgetting about rural life. Leave Watten primary kids alone.
Save our school. Its vital for the community.
Ridiculous idea. Where are the bairns supposed to go then? Driving them miles away isnt the answer.
This school is the only thing keeping the village alive. Without it everyone with a family will just move away.
My kids went there and my gran before that. You cant just take the heart out of a tiny village like Watten. Keep it open!
