We, the undersigned petitioners are residents of Valley Station, Kentucky. We are deeply concerned regarding the rumored relocation of the Valley Station Post Office to Pleasure Ridge Park Post Office. We are taxpayers who are asking our elected leaders to STOP this relocation. This post office serves over 8723 home deliveries.* Valley Station is comprised of 23,055 voting people, many of whom are elderly and retired military Veterans (being located so closely to Ft. Knox) who would suffer an economic hardship by forcing these individuals to drive 10-15 miles to P.R.P. for postal services. (* 2005 Census)
