As students, faculty, alumni, former staff, and generally as members of the Towson Catholic Family, we the undersigned formally request that the Archdiocese of Baltimore strongly revisit the decision to close Towson Catholic. Towson Catholic is more than a building with classrooms where math and history are taught. It's a second home, part of our history, and most importantly it's an idea. The soul of Towson Catholic is an idea about a better way to live. One where family, loyalty, service, and togetherness are the purpose of life. Towson Catholic is a jewel in our community, a jewel that stretches far beyond the walls of its buildings. Its value can't be measured in dollars, and for this reason we feel that preserving Towson Catholic is worth any financial or labor investment necessary. Towson Catholic should not be simply cast aside at the first sign of financial distress. If you are a graduate of TC, or a former teacher, or even if you've never had anything to do with TC but feel that such an organization is good to have as part of our community, please sign below! (The petition is free. The request for donations that comes up when you click SIGN THE PETITION is for this website, not TC. If you see that page you've already signed the petition and your name has been recorded. You can simply close that browser window if you don't want to donate to iPetitions)

We are approaching 500 signatures and need a final push to force the Archdiocese to pay attention. Post the link to your Facebook page right now and text three alumni to ensure they add their names before the week ends.

Such a shame. TC is a staple in this town.

So many good memories there. Please reconsider closing the doors on all these kids.

My brother went there and had the best experience ever. The archdiocese needs to find a way to make the numbers work instead of just giving up.

TC was my home for 4 years. You cant just close down a community like this. It breaks my heart.

This place helped shape who I am today. Closing it would be a huge mistake for the whole neighborhood.
