The Toronto District School Board is looking at closing school pools which will affect many Physical Education and Co-curricular sports programs across the city. This will also affect communities who use the pools when they are not being used by TDSB students.
We, the undersigned, are concerned students, staff and citizens who urge the TDSB, City of Toronto, and Government of Ontario to work together to Save our School Pools.
The stories you are sharing about these pools prove just how much this city relies on these spaces for health and learning. Please call your local school board trustee today to tell them why your pool must stay open. We need that physical pressure on them right now to force a real conversation.

The momentum behind this campaign is undeniable and it proves that our pools are a vital part of the city. Use this energy to email your local trustee and demand they keep these school facilities open for our community.

The school board needs to find the money somewhere else. Taking away swim programs is just lazy budgeting.

Keep them open. These pools are the only place my daughter can practice during the off season.
