The momentum building behind this effort shows that many people in Aberdeen value our access to these essential training spaces. Reaching five hundred signatures would provide a clear signal to the council that our community expects them to prioritize public health over these closures.

The stories shared by fellow swimmers have truly highlighted how vital these training sessions are for our daily routines. I am currently organizing these signatures to present them to the council members who have the power to protect our local facilities.

Seeing this groundswell of support confirms how vital these pools are to our local community. It is heartening to know that so many people value the health and dedication of young athletes who train in these lanes each morning.

If these pools close where are the kids supposed to go?? Makes zero sense to cut the local sports budget like this.
My kids swim every single morning and this would completely ruin their routine. Aberdeen needs these pools open.
waste of money for the council to do this. just keep the pools running.
My brother trains at 5am for his squad. dont take that away from them.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Council preaching health and exercise but then shutting down the only places to actually do it. typical.

Swimming is the only sport my daughter really loves. Keep them open please.
