Venice Island public library is vital to the residents, students and guests of our community. Seal the foundation floor with tile.

I believe a temporary location should be found before closing the library. This facility is so important to so many people!

I love my library! Cannot imagine not having it - so sad to have just returned my last book. Please find a solution that works!!

The idea to close the library is very strange. What kind of management do we have in Venice. Very, Very poor lack of planning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find it very hard to believe that a humidity problem cannot be solved. I have been visiting the library weekly for years and have never noticed a humidity or mold problem. I guess I must have missed all the big signs warning of mold-related health dangers. It seems like the County leadership has not been entirely forthcoming. Please do not close our library!

I have visited the Venice library with my grandchildren often and do hope it does not close. It really would be a loss.

We love Miss Pat and attend storytime every week! My daughter is going to be devastated! We love Venice Library! Please re-open in a new location! Maybe the old KMart or old Albertsons?

I believe there has to be a resolution to the mold situation. The Venice library is a staple not only to the community but also the children. I love the Venice library especially with the convenience of living on the Island.

WHO wants to close our precious Venice Library? I have enjoyed many in my day including Fairfax County Virginia and as a teen the Library of Congress. Now I am an elder and use this library at least once a week. I always see all ages there and can not imagine how many of our residents will be hurt by your decision.

please keep the lirbary until a new site is found. rebuild at the current location. thank you

please do not close the library until a temporary location can be found...then rebuild it where at its current location...

I had a library card for decades and enjoyed going there to get books and read since 1968. It's insane to close it for this.. cleaning it up isn't as hard as they make it out to be.

Don't close the library until you have another solution. It is absolutely ridiculous to be totally closing the library because of a few individuals with a sensitivity to mold.

I used to walk to the library after school. I understand the issues, but there should be a public library on the island of Venice.

Please keep the library!

The library is central to not only the people on Venice island but to those of us who cross the bridge to visit the island. Venice would be missing a part of its history by relocating the library to any where else but its current location.

Handling of this matter smells of govt incompetince. Get us a new safe library asap

Please don't close the library all together. Gut it and reopen when it's done.
