We would like to see the library stay open until they have another location. This problem as been ongoing. Please check into the mold problem to see if it can be fixed. Many of our seniors on the island of Venice do not drive anymore and they walk to the library. The public need some input in this matter and a decision should not be rushed.

The library is a source of information and assistance for the people of Venice.As a senior citizen with limited vision I cannot,and would not, drive to Jacaranda library. Closing it would create a hardship for many of us in the same situation

It would be short-sighted for those in charge to tear down the Venice library before suitable space is found. A kiosk and a few shelves in the community center is inadequate.

It would be a shame for Venice to lose their library on the Island. The library should remain open until an alternate island location is designated and plans for a permanent Island of Venice site is in place. There are so many programs that are enjoyed by the very young (toddlers) to the elderly. It would be a great disservice to the community to lose them.

Please don't close the library until there is an alternate location set up for use. Please also plan to rebuild in the same location, numerous children from the schools on the island use the library daily. My children and I use this at least once a week.

Most mold can be remediated. Only certain molds, out of hundreds are potentially a concern. Please review all available info and outcomes. Thank you.

This isn't the first time that the light Barry notice these problems as the black mold it should have been taken care of a long time ago and by the way that it hasn't been taken care of I don't feel that the library she closed down at all I believe it should be taken care of once and for all four we have no other place to go to some people can't drive in some people can't even ride a bicycle much less the library closing down with take a lot of values out of the community

Rather than focus on a temporary location I would like to see the long-term plans for a library to remain on the island. If plans are for it to be rebuilt on its present site that is one thing, but if an alternate location is planned (perhaps adjacent to the Triangle House) than allow the library to remain open (since it was stated that the mold is not life threatening) until the new site is built. I am concerned that once the library is shuttered that it may never be rebuilt on the island and the thousands of residents that use the library daily will no longer have this community resource available to them.

The cultural campus of Venice, is not The cultural campus minus the Venice public library as he part of its original design. It is hoped that it would be looked at to keep a new library here on the campus even if it has to be much smaller. Or larger if to rebuild for the parking lot is and move the parking lot to where the library now is, there are multiple options and I pray they will be looked at. Between the students and the elderly and the entire community that uses this facility on the island it would be tragic to not replace it because of mold, and very detrimental to the community and leave the cultural campus void of its plan The public should be allowed to weigh in on this public service

Please do not close this branch of the library down until a new temporary or permanent location has been found. As a retired couple, we use the library weekly and would not like to have to travel off island to another branch. Keep it open!
