I have been a frequent visitor of hookah lounges for over four years. These establishments have shown immense quality and utmost adherence to laws and regulartions . This recommendation is a slap in the face of good, honest, and hard working Torontonians who have ran successful businesses for many years.

the ban of Shisha in Toronto is a very bad influence on future of the society. Yes, it has health issues but by stating that as an excuse the ban of cigarettes should also happen at the same time. But main issue is where are all the individuals that smoke Shisha and participate in it go? Most Shisha bars do not have criminal activity going on but it is a social environment. To ban it, it will cause corruption in society. More youths are losing their place and will participate in other activities. More corruption will happen if all these places get shut down just because a minority does not like it. The ban of Shisha should not happen!
