I grew up walking through these halls and the thought of these legends disappearing from our community feels like losing a piece of my own family history. I have been spending my days talking to people at the capitol to make sure they understand that these institutions belong in Macon. We are not letting this happen without a fight.

Seeing one hundred people sign to protect the halls in Macon feels like a genuine turning point for our city. I remember these buildings as the heart of our local identity and I am overwhelmed that so many others feel the same way.

Taking the halls out of macon would be a huge slap in the face to this city. do better.
Awful idea. Macon needs these attractions for the economy and for the families.
just leave it alone. state gov needs to stop touching everything.
so many memories here. my kids love the music hall. please dont take this away from our town.
Total nonsense. My grandpa worked on the music hall project years ago and it would be a shame to see it go.

Keep them in Macon where they belong!! This is part of our history.
