As reported in the Media the UK coalition government has decided they would like to close 9 UK coastguard stations (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11988087). One of the Stations that could close or become a Day Station will be Stornoway Coastguard. This is a clearly ridiculous thing to do as Stornoway is one of the bases that cover the most area of water in the UK. Stornoway coastguard and their crew save so many people in a year and if it was to go people would be lost without it as Aberdeen would be the closest HM Coastguard Station for Rescues Please show you're support!!!
