We are also fighting to prevent the attendees of the Day Centre suffering distress and displacement from a place they love and which is a second home to them.
The Trustees have stated that they have no immediate plans for the building; a donor has offered to pay for any deficit for the year, SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION TO GIVE YOUR SUPPORT TO KEEPING THE DAY CENTRE OPEN.

Seeing 250 names on this list gives me so much hope for the people who rely on St Mary's every single day. My heart is full knowing so many neighbors understand that this place is a lifeline for our elderly community.

My own mother relies on the Haven for her daily stability and she is terrified of what happens if those doors lock for good. We are nearing the hundred signature mark so please send this link to your neighbors now to help us build the momentum we need to save this place.

This place is a lifeline for so many people in Penzance. Very short sighted decision.
Just pure greed. They dont care about the community at all.
KEEP IT OPEN. These people deserve dignity and a place to go.
My mum has been going here for years. It is her only social life and she relies on the staff so much. You cannot just close it down!
So cruel to take this away from the elderly. They have enough to deal with already without losing their second home.
