I have been spending my evenings reading through your stories about what Southard means to our families and I am honestly overwhelmed by how much you all care. The Board has not reached out yet but your messages are keeping me focused on why we started this in the first place. You are the ones doing the real work here and I am just lucky to be helping.

I am truly overwhelmed by the momentum building behind this effort to save our school. It honestly surprises me how many people feel as strongly as I do about this place. This is entirely due to your willingness to speak up for our community.

TOTAL LACK OF COMMON SENSE. stop taking away our local schools.
Ridiculous decision. The board needs to look at the budget again instead of just dumping on the taxpayers.
my kids went there and they loved it. closing it is just gonna make the other schools way too crowded. bad plan.
My son just started there and he loves his teacher. Please reconsider!
Keep southard open. it is a great school and the kids deserve better than this.

This is so unfair to the families in this neighborhood! Southard is the heart of our community.
