Humberside Fire Brigade are planning to shut Sledmere Fire Station. If they do this then lives will be lost. Sledmere fire station serves a large rural area and the nearest fire station is Bridlington or Driffield. Help save it. My holiday home is 8.2 miles (13mins) from Sledmere, Bridington is 8.8 miles 15mins Driffield is 10.7 miles (19mins) . I have known the fire service to be called to the village in which I stay at. Last year there was a MP5 just up the road.
