We the undersigned staff and students of the University of London agree that:
1) Senate House Library, a vital resource for staff and students alike, should continue to be available to, and geared towards the needs of, members of all University of London affiliated institutions.
2) The different University of London college heads, when making their decision on the library\'s future in December 2008, should be aware of the scale of the threat posed to the intellectual life of all London staff and students by its potential closure or the restriction of borrowing rights and access to its collections.
The path forward is exhausting but we are nearing our first major milestone of one hundred signatures. Please send this link to those who still rely on these collections so we can push through this fatigue together.

The collection is priceless and essential for research. Short sighted move by the colleges if they go through with this.

Ridiculous idea. We pay enough in tuition as it is. Keep the library open for everyone as it should be.
