If you're wondering why we're even protesting in the first place, take a look at what SLZHS will look like next year with the 6 period schedule... -Approximately 11% of San Lorenzo High School teachers will be cut. Meaning the teachers we've grown to know & love will be going to other schools to teach. (EX: WURM, BARAJAS, BERNARD) -6 Period Schedules mean the same TEACHERS & the same STUDENTS all year, all day, everyday. -Less prep time for teachers = less prepared teachers = less learning -Less break time! (We're talking 5 minute breaks!) Think about how long it takes you to get to your classes throughout the day. So, instead of sitting back, watching & just letting this happen, DO SOMETHING!
