I met with the port commissioners this morning to discuss the permanent site designation for the sculpture. My legal team is currently drafting a formal proposal to ensure the installation remains in its current location.

The current momentum confirms that this sculpture has significant public backing. I am now preparing a formal summary of this support to present directly to the Port Board of Commissioners during their next session.

KEEP IT WHERE IT IS!! It is part of the city now. My kids love it.
Every time I walk by I have to stop and look. It feels like it was always meant to be right there in San Diego. Please leave it alone!

That statue is iconic. It belongs on the waterfront. Don't move it.
