So tired of the hate. Any dog can bite if treated poorly. Focus on the people not the dogs.
Seriously? My neighbor has a beagle that is meaner than any pitbull I have ever met. This is total nonsense.
I grew up with pits my whole life and never had a single problem. This law is just plain stupid and unfair to good dogs.
LEAVE THESE DOGS ALONE. Its never the breed its the bad owners who dont train them right. My pitty is a sweetheart.
My pit mix is the biggest baby ever. She sleeps in my bed every night and is terrified of the mailman. Stop blaming the dog when it is the owners fault.

Pitbulls were once known as the nanny dog. They are kind dogs. These dogs were not and are not fighting dogs. The people who make them fighting dogs should be held accountable for their actions. As with many breeds of dogs, Pits are the ones that are now getting a bad rap. It was the dobermans, german shepards, rotties, and soon it will be another breed. The diference with this breed is that people are making them fight. I have pits and they think they are lap dogs, Where I live most people have pits and there has not been an incident with any of them. On the other hand a cocker spaniel has bitten a few people . why not put that breed on the ban list as well.
