The stories shared by many of you regarding the bond you have with your dogs remind me why this effort is so important. Focusing on responsible ownership instead of targeting a specific breed remains the most logical path forward. I am currently reaching out to representatives to ensure they understand the perspective held by this community.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me that so many people believe in the inherent value of these dogs. It is heartening to know that our shared concern for their safety is reaching so many others who feel the same way.

God created all animals. who are we to decide who gets to live or die. sad.
people are so quick to judge. pits are loyal and sweet if you treat them right. stop the killing.
my pit is the biggest baby ever. she sleeps with my kids every night. this bill is just purely ignorant.
Ridiculous laws. focus on the abusive owners instead of the dogs. shame.
TOTAL BS. u dont punish the whole breed bc of some bad owners. leave these dogs alone.

my brother has a pit and it wouldnt hurt a fly. seriously wake up people.
