Dear Cllr Hamilton, We the undersigned appreciate the effort you have put into saving the heritage of Ward 1, especially the Blackheath Pool. We now ask you to seriously consider offering the same support to Ward 2 residents regarding the proposed demolition of the Mechanics Institute (Old Community Hall, GWH). The hall is of social and historic heritage value to the community of the mid mountains and the Blue Mountains. It could be used for theatre, concerts and for the youth of the area. We urge you to vote against demolition and for a thorough investigation of alternative funding opportunities for relocation of the hall. Thank you,
